| The Club Singles Trophy was fished on Thursday
2nd June on the Embalsa Beniarres. In previous years this fixture has
produced some very good weights. However this year was a low weight match,
but at the end of the day there was only 4 kilos between the top 4. On the
day Bob Rafferty won with a weight of 13.040 kilos. Well done Bob |

Cierva, Mula, Murcia. 8 anglers attended. This is a free water given to us
for the day by the Murcia Federation President. The water is in a very
picturesque location. Unfortunatly the fishing was poor. |

rounds were fished on the first 3 Thursdays of August. The two top anglers
from each went through to the final. |

on Thursday 26 August. 6 Anglers took part. The final was was fished at our
HQ Bar El Alto. Everyone caught, the weather was very hot 40c at the onset.
Ian Dalzell was the run away winner with a good bag of Sun Fish. |

so weights were a little low. First was Stuart Thompson which means he won

spring series was fished on Thursday 20th May at Blanca. Conditions were
good but weights were very low. A welcome visit from the Murcian federation
bailiffs was made and licenses were checked. All was in order. However
two Spanish locals fishing nearby were asked to leave.

Drain La Marina. On Arrival conditions were good and we were all optimistic.
however the fish had other ideas. Only small fish were caught. This was
disappointing as we had moved our planned location from The Eden Canal which
had been match fished the previous two days running. |
