BENIARRES

From the A7-E15 exit at JUNCT. 70 keeping in the left hand slip lane, bear left at the roundabout under the motorway onto the A7-A77 sign posted Alcoi/Alcoy (was A36), this joins the N340 about 7km before reaching Alcoy, stay on the N340 sign posted Valencia all the way through the town, (one way system). Carry on for about 14 km through Concentaina to Muro de Alcoy just past a CEPSA/ELF petrol station, bear right on the CV700  and carry straight on through the town staying on the main road, follow sign posts for Benimarfull then Planes (about 11 km from Muro). Just before you reach the outskirts of Planes you will see on your right hand side of the road a small religious monument. IMMEDIATELY before this on the other side of the road is a tarmac track running parallel in the opposite direction you have just come from, take a sharp U turn and carry on down this track, you will see an old stop sign on your left, 50 meters further on at a fork in the track bear right and take it nice and steady as there are a few pot holes, it starts to get steeper and rutted but it is passable with care, follow to the end and you will see the Embalse in front of you.
